Our Approach


Chicane initiated a 12-week project with a holistic approach to address both immediate customer concerns and potential market needs. At the core of the strategy was the implementation of a Voice of the Customer (VOC) campaign. This involved in-depth analysis, feedback collection, and the utilization of customer behavior modeling to gain insights into consumer preferences and pain points.

Workshops were organized throughout the project, emphasizing cross-functional collaboration to extract a diverse range of ideas. Chicane leveraged customer reviews, competitor analyses, and internal expertise to construct a robust customer behavior model. This model became the foundation for a customized Customer Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) template.


Customer Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA): Chicane's creation of a tailored FMEA template proved instrumental for the new product integration team. This tool empowered them to systematically identify potential failure modes, assess their effects, and develop mitigation strategies. The template became a standardized framework for evaluating risks across different consumer bases and use cases.

The integration of customer behavior modeling into the FMEA process enabled the design and quality teams to develop pre and post-production tests. These tests aimed to ensure that identified risks were proactively mitigated, contributing to a more robust and customer-centric product development process.

The impact of Chicane's intervention was tangible and swift. Over a three-month period, post-production defects were reduced by an impressive 28%. This reduction not only streamlined operations but also significantly enhanced customer satisfaction, as evidenced by positive feedback and increased customer loyalty.
